Leigh is the founder of the Untamed Artist Network. He works predominantly in pastel creating highly detailed portrayals of wildlife and has recently completed series featuring Australian wildlife. His current project is a major exhibition of works focussing on the chimpanzees.

Patrick is a core member of the Network whose highly detailed works include varied and unusual subjects created in pastel and scratchboard. He has just completed work on the chimpanzee exhibit with Leigh Rust.

Colleen is one of the top 100 pastellists in the US and a wildlife artist who is proactive in helping wildlife conservation where she can. Her works capture the pure essence of her subjects with loose application juxtaposed with an amazing grasp on anatomy, dynamics and tone. She works regularly in oils and pastel, garnering high praise with both mediums.

From the traditional to the slightly offbeat, Tom has fun trying out new approaches and techniques using different media. With the wildlife paintings, he prefers a more photo realistic style, with light, emotion and a sense of space being key components to his works. His preferred mediums for wildlife work are acrylics and pastel.

Rebecca's primary goal in her work is to help the creatures she paints as well as their habitat. She participates in numerous wildlife & habitat conservation fundraising events to increase awareness & has generated thousands of dollars for wildlife & conservation through her work.

Bonnie achieves a unique quality of depth and shape in her work, drawing the viewer into her paintings. She works in a assortment of sizes and formats, ranging from larger miniature paintings to very small ones rendered less than one square inch.

Chris is famous for his unique, fine and intricate pencils drawings of African and Australian wildlife. Coming from the land and pioneering stock himself, he believes that the spirit of the Australian bush and the African bushveld is a part of him, and he finds it easy to become one with it. His renderings truly represent this and have such fine detail that each of his drawings can take up to 300 hours. His work is highly coveted by discerning collectors worldwide.
"A sense of urgency" Graphite and coloured pencil by Chris McClelland
Martin works in pastel to create sensitive portrayals of the natural world. His renditions of the orangutans in particular capture a deep connection with his subject. Martin is responsible for the Alive and Kicking project in Northern Mozambique, distributing special footballs to villages and educating people about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and malaria.

Alison is a Melbourne based artist who works in pastel and oils to create realistic depictions of many animals. Her passion translates into a desire to conserve our beautiful Earth and her precious wildlife and I try to express this through my art in oils and pastel using light, atmosphere and drama. She has worked as a wildlife volunteer in South Africa and is currently planning another stint later in the year.

Deb is a portrait artist from the Southwest United States. Her work in wildlife causes sprang from the annual Arizona Artist's Guild show at the Phoenix Zoo. Their breeding and conservation programs feature a number of extinct and highly endangered species. Keeping true to their goals her work features portraits of these species. They are portraits for the sake of saving not only a species but one life at a time.
"Sumatra" Pastel by Debra Jones
Having lived and travelled through different countries in Africa, Angela opens a door to the continent for us with her art. Her paintings guide us on an amazing safari across desert, jungle and savannah where her passion for people, landscape and wildlife is expressed in her work. To underline her commitment to conservation some of the proceeds of Angela's paintings have been donated to the Rhino Ark organization and further proceeds are pledged to the Born Free Foundation.

Brian is a photographer who uses his prints to raise funds for wildlife conservation. Via outlets such as youtube and myspace he helps highlight the issues for wild animals and educate people on the problems they face.
